What age group of children does Trea Kids serve?
Trea Kids is a specialized pediatric neurorehabilitation center for children aged 0-12. Priority is given to this age group, especially in early childhood (0-6 years), as intervention is much more effective during this period.
How long does Intensive Therapy last?
Our intensive therapy programs are typically planned for 3 to 6 weeks. Sessions are conducted 5 days a week, with 1 to 2 hour sessions per day. The therapy duration can be adjusted according to the child’s needs.
What is TheraTogs and can every child use it?
TheraTogs is a wearable therapy garment that supports the child’s posture and movement control. It is not suitable for every child; suitability is determined after preliminary evaluation and is customized for each individual.
Is family participation in the therapy process possible?
Absolutely yes. Family participation is very important at Trea Kids. Feedback is provided about sessions, supportive activities that can be applied at home are recommended, and the family becomes an active part of the process.
Is an evaluation conducted before sessions?
Yes. Before all our services, the child’s physical, emotional, and developmental condition is evaluated in detail. Based on this evaluation, goals are set and a therapy plan is created.
What should I pay attention to when coming to Trea Kids?
Comfortable clothing should be preferred, a light meal should be eaten before the session time, and hours when the child feels good should be chosen. Health and development-related background information should be brought to the first meeting.
How is development tracked during the treatment process?
After each session, development is noted step by step and tracked with visual and written reports. Regular feedback is provided to the family and whether goals are achieved is evaluated.
Does Trea Kids only offer physiotherapy services?
No. Trea Kids provides comprehensive support in many areas including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sensory integration therapy, TheraTogs, Bobath Concept, play therapy, and family counseling.
